There are moments in your journey that feel surreal—like everything you’ve been working on quietly leads you to a room, a conversation, or an opportunity you once only imagined. One of those moments for me was having a personal encounter with Chinkee Tan and being in the presence of other coaches and mentors I look up to in the industry.
This wasn’t just about meeting a well-known financial coach. It was about being in an environment where growth, mindset, and real-life lessons were being shared in the most genuine way possible.
During that encounter, what stood out to me the most was how grounded and practical the conversation was. It wasn’t just motivational talk—it was real advice. The kind you can actually apply in your life and business. There were discussions about financial discipline, handling income as a freelancer or business owner, and the importance of building something sustainable—not just something that looks successful on the outside.
I also had the chance to listen, observe, and engage in conversations where questions were asked openly—about struggles, growth, and the reality of building a career in the online space. It reminded me that no matter what level you’re in, everyone is still learning, improving, and figuring things out.
What made the experience even more meaningful was the energy in that space. You could feel that everyone there was driven—not just by income, but by purpose. Being surrounded by coaches, entrepreneurs, and individuals who are serious about growth gave me a different kind of motivation. It pushed me to think bigger, act smarter, and stay consistent with the path I’ve chosen.
Looking back, that encounter wasn’t just a highlight—it was a reminder. A reminder that opportunities like this don’t just happen randomly. They come as a result of showing up, taking action, and continuously putting yourself in environments where you can grow.
As I continue building my virtual assistance agency and helping others start their freelancing journey, I carry those lessons with me. Because sometimes, it only takes one conversation, one moment, or one encounter to shift how you see your future.
And for me, this was definitely one of them.
